I had my eye on the Better Wayz herd for a while, but when I saw Kathy had kept a buck out of her doe, SG Better Wayz SwissMiss Carabear 3*M, I knew I needed a kid out of him! In my opinion, Swiss Miss is one of the best does in the BREED in terms of correctedness, milk production, and overall what we should be breeding for in Nigerian Dwarfs. How many does have made the top ten list AND LAed 92 multiple times?! Not many! Kathy's herd excels in many traits that are lacking in the breed and that are crucial for me when building the foundation of my herd. Those traits include very wide and correct rumps, gorgeous briskets, and very productive and well attached mammaries. His dam, Aphrodite, is another beautiful example of these consistent does in the Better Wayz herd that wowed me when I her photos! She had an very impressive linear appraisal last year at only 2 years old and is a heavy milker. I am looking forward to watching her as she develops even more. Don is growing into quite an eye catching young buck. He is incredibly long with a beautiful front end, rump, and rear leg angulation. He reminds me of a deer when he walks. If Adonis throws daughters that are half as pretty as his female relatives, I'll be one happy goat farmer!
